In Siliguri, theft incidents continue as another case emerges. On September 13, a significant amount of copper wire was stolen from the customer care center of the Subhash Palli Electricity Department. The thief cut wires from an air conditioner to escape.

Following a complaint at the Siliguri Police Station, the Anti-Crime Wing launched an investigation and arrested Sanjeev Das,a resident of Chittaranjan Colony. He has been presented in court, and the police are further investigating the incident.
