"Grand Janmashtami Celebrations Draw Thousands to ISKCON Mayapur"

Today marks Janmashtami, the 5251st anniversary of Lord Krishna's birth. The festival is being celebrated across India, with grand ceremonies at the ISKCON temple in Mayapur, Nadia. Despite rain in the region, the temple is filled with both local and international devotees. The celebrations began early in the morning with Mangala Aarti, followed by various rituals like Harinam Sankirtan and Vishwashanti Yajna. A grand Mahabhishek ceremony will take place tonight to mark Lord Krishna's birth. Thousands of devotees have gathered in Mayapur for the festivities.
