In Siliguri, the police have arrested a suspect involved in the theft from a temple. Two days ago, a theft occurred at a Shiva temple in Bansbari, located in the New Jalpaiguri police station area. The incident caused widespread alarm in the community. Upon receiving the report, New Jalpaiguri police visited the scene. The local people expressed their frustration with the police over the theft. After receiving a written complaint about the theft, the New Jalpaiguri police launched an investigation. Finally, on Thursday night, the police were able to arrest Gautam Adhikari, the accused, using various sources of information. Items stolen from the temple were recovered from the suspect's possession. Gautam Adhikari is a resident of Thakur Nagar BJP Colony. The accused was sent to the Jalpaiguri court on Friday by the New Jalpaiguri police.
