"Swapnarani Majumdar Killed by Train While Walking Home in Bilonia"

Swapnarani Majumdar, who lived in College Square, Bilonia, was hit and killed by a train while walking home from work. The accident happened around 4 PM on Monday near the railway bridge over the Muhuri River. The police arrived, recovered her body from the tracks, and sent it to the hospital for an autopsy.

Swapnarani worked as a Group D staff member in the Sericulture Department. She was used to walking along the railway tracks to get home. Locals said she had narrowly avoided being hit by a train before. Sadly, she was not as lucky this time, and her death has caused grief in her family and the local community.
