"Trade Resumes at Fulbari Border After 3-Day Shutdown Due to Bangladesh Unrest"

From Wednesday morning, import and export activities between India and Bangladesh resumed through the Fulbari border near Siliguri. This follows a halt that began on August 4 due to unrest in Bangladesh. The three-day shutdown caused losses of around four crore rupees. With the situation now stabilized, trade has resumed, providing relief to businesses and truck drivers. Currently, only Bhutanese vehicles are allowed to cross into Bangladesh.
