12 houses gutted in fire 10 families hoemeless

Panic griped at Dharam Nagar under ward I under Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC ) after 14 houses were gutted in fire on Saturday morning. Around 10 families are homeless. Meanwhile, four local youth have been injured while trying to douse the flames. The four injured have been admitted at the Siliguri District Hospital for treatment. Four fire engines reached the spot and doused the flames after a two hour long operation.
