14-year-old boy arrested in Siliguri for allegedly assaulting 4-year-old girl.

A shocking incident has come to light in Siliguri, where a 14-year-old boy has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a four-year-old girl. This tragic incident happened on Friday in the Ashighar Outpost area.

Reports say that the boy lives with his mother in a rented house. On the day of the incident, his mother was away at work. During this time, he allegedly invited the little girl, who was playing outside, into his home, pretending he would let her watch television. Once inside, he reportedly assaulted her.

The incident was discovered when a neighbor, hearing the child’s cries, entered the house to help. The 4-year-old girl was immediately taken to Siliguri District Hospital for medical care.

Afterward, a complaint was filed at the Ashighar Outpost, leading the police to start an investigation. Based on the findings, the boy was taken into custody and appeared before a juvenile court on Saturday. The investigation is ongoing.
