Army vehicle blast injures five including two army personnels

Five person including an two army personnel were injured in a blast of an army vehicle while it was refilling the gas of the air conditioner at Punjabi Para under ward 13 under Siliguri Municipal Corporation on Wednesday.

Police said it is a case of accident. The garage has been sealed.

According to the army sources, A Tata Safari Storme of Indian Army was taken to a civil workshop in Siliguri for routine repairs.

“The AC Compressor blasted leading to injury of two army personnel and three personnel of the Garage. The injured personnel have been given medical aid and are stable”, said an army officer.
