Border Security Force and Border Guard Bangladesh making positive efforts in building good border relation

  On 14 November 2024, three Cattle of Indian living in border area were smuggled from India to Bangladesh by cattle smugglers taking advantage of the dense fog.

 Sector Commander BSF Kishanganj contacted and informed the counterpart Sector Commander of Border Guard Bangladesh Thakurgaon and the Commanding Officer of 42 Battalion BGB and requested them to arrest the Bangladesh smugglers who were involved in this incident and to return the three smuggled animals to BSF.

 Border Guard Bangladesh took immediate action and succeeded in arresting the Bangladesh smugglers and also three smuggled animals, involved in this incident, were returned to BSF. BSF returned the cattle to the owner.

 This a commendable initiative taken by BSF and an appreciable action by BGB.

 Actions of both border guarding forces is another step in establishing coordination and harmony on India Bangladesh border.
