The Darjeeling Himalayan Railways has suspended three services of 16 km joyride service between Darjeeling to Ghoom. The services will resume along the narrow gauge from February 28 onwards, said the railways officials.
Chief Public Relation Officer (CPRO), Sabyasachi De. said In view of the lean season, N. F. railway has decided to cancel a few jouy rides .
According to the DHR officials, Steam Joy Ride train no. 52594 (Darjeeling – Ghum – Darjeeling), Steam Joy Ride train no. 52544 (Darjeeling – Ghum – Darjeeling) and Diesel Joy Ride train no. 52590 (Darjeeling – Ghum – Darjeeling) will remain cancelled from 21January to 28 February. (EoM)
