Forest personal seize dried seahorse.

Kurseong forest division seized dried seashorse and arrested one person in this connection at Naxalbari area on Tuesday. 

The forest officials have identified the accused of Faiz Ahmed (41) , a resident to of North Dinajpur. The accused has been produced befor the Siliguri court on Wednesday. 

According to the protest officials based on the information,  Ghoshpukur forest Range under  Kurseong Forest Division in a joint operation with WLCCB and Tukriajhar Range .Seized Sea Horse(dried), weighing around 5kg on Tuesday.  One motorcycle has also been seized from the accused. The seized article belongs to Schedule I (Part E) of wildlife Protection Act 1972.

" The  accused has been produced to Siliguri Court for a plea of judicial custody for further investigation" , said Kurseong division ADFO Bhuoen Biswakarma
