Four Arrested in Separate Theft Cases in Siliguri
Siliguri, November 28: Bhaktinagar police arrested four people in connection with three separate theft cases.
The first case happened on September 24 at PCM House, where AC pipes and wires were stolen. Following a complaint, the police arrested two suspects, Mohammad Chhotu, a resident of Ashraf Nagar, and Ramprasad Mandal, who lives in Ward No. 44 under Siliguri Municipal Corporation.
The second theft occurred on November 12 in the Industrial Estate area. After receiving a complaint, the police started investigating and arrested Papon Das, a resident of NJP, based on evidence.
In the third case, a shop in the Industrial Estate was targeted on November 26. During the investigation, the police arrested Sanjay Das from Fakdaibari.
Some stolen items have been recovered from the accused. On Thursday, all four were presented in the Jalpaiguri court. The police are continuing their investigations.
