IPL 2025: CSK Beat KKR in Close Match, Dhoni Stays Not Out
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) won a tight game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL 2025. Chasing 180 runs, CSK were struggling at 60 for 5. But young star Dewald Brevis changed the match by scoring 50 runs in just 22 balls. He hit 30 runs in one over of Vaibhav Arora.
Shivam Dube scored 45 runs, and MS Dhoni stayed not out till the end. Debut player Urvil Patel also played a fast knock of 31 from 11 balls.
KKR’s spinner Noor Ahmad took 4 big wickets and Andre Russell scored 38 from 21 balls. But it was not enough.
In the last over, CSK needed 8 runs. Dhoni hit a six and Kamboj hit the winning boundary. CSK won with 2 balls left.
This loss is a big blow to KKR's hopes of reaching the playoffs. They now need a miracle to qualify.
