Joint Operation by Naxalbari Police and SSB Stops Cattle Smuggling

On Friday night, the Naxalbari Police and SSB worked together to stop a cattle smuggling attempt. The police got information about smuggling along the Bagilram Jote route in Naxalbari. When the police arrived, the smugglers ran away, leaving behind 13 cattle, which were sent to the Naxalbari cattle shelter.

In another operation, SSB officers from the Boro Maniram Jote Battalion found 5 cattle that were being smuggled from Nepal into India. The smugglers ran away when they saw the SSB, leaving the cattle behind.
