Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) Celebrates 24th Foundation Day in Darjeeling
The Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) marked its 24th foundation day with a celebration in Darjeeling. The party was established 24 years ago by the late Union Minister and Padma Bhushan awardee Ram Vilas Paswan. After his passing in 2020, the leadership of the party was taken over by his son, Chirag Paswan, who is also the current Member of Parliament and National President of the party.
In Darjeeling, the occasion was organized under the leadership of Dr. Hira Lal Paswan, the District President of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas). The event was held at a private venue, where a cake-cutting ceremony took place to commemorate the milestone.
Around 60 party workers attended the celebration, including members of the women's wing, youth wing, and other organizational units. Dr. Hira Lal Paswan, along with key leaders and supporters, expressed their dedication to furthering the ideals of the late Ram Vilas Paswan and strengthening the party's presence in the region.
The gathering reflected the unity and enthusiasm of the party members as they honored the party's journey and legacy over the past 24 years.
