He was accompanied by BJP West Bengal President Samik Bhattacharya. The interaction focused on key issues related to development priorities in North Bengal, including employment generation, strengthening the local economy, boosting commerce and trade, and ensuring transparent governance.
During the discussion, people from different sections of society — including students, traders, youth, women and senior citizens — shared their concerns, expectations and suggestions. Party leaders said the exchange reflected public interest in regional development and governance matters.
The programme was also attended by BJP Siliguri President Arun Mandal, Siliguri MLA Dr Shankar Ghosh, elected Siliguri Municipal Corporation councillors, and other district office bearers and party workers.
According to party sources, the interaction aimed at strengthening grassroots engagement and gathering public feedback on developmental issues concerning the region.
