New Land Grabbing Allegation Against Ramakrishna Mission Stirs Controversy:

A fresh land grabbing allegation has emerged against the Ramakrishna Mission, causing a stir in Siliguri. Previously, there was an issue regarding land at Sevak House in Ward 46. Now, similar accusations have surfaced about Ramakrishna Mission land in Matigara.

On July 27, the Mission's officials sent a letter to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb, asking for help to recover the land. In response, Mayor Deb held a meeting with the Mission officials at the Siliguri Municipal Corporation office on Friday. He assured them of his full support in the effort to retrieve the land.
