Thief Arrested After Kalikot House Robbery; Stolen Items Recovered in Champasari

On September 26, a theft took place at an empty house in the Kalikot area. The next day, on September 27, the homeowners returned and found that gold chains, rings, and a television were stolen.

The victims filed a complaint at the Pradhan Nagar Police Station. The police started investigating and, acting on a tip-off, arrested a person named Karan near Siliguri Junction on Sunday night. During questioning, Karan admitted to the crime.

The police later recovered the stolen items from an abandoned house in Champasari. Karan was presented in Siliguri Court, and the investigation is still ongoing.
