A grand three-day celebration for Janmashtami has commenced, with over 500 children participating in various activities, including a drawing competition based on Krishna's leelas and recitation of Gita shlokas. The festivities will reach their peak tomorrow, August 26th, with a series of special events. The day will begin at 4:30 AM with Mangala Aarti, followed by Rajbhog Darshan at 8:30 AM, featuring attire brought from Vrindavan. Throughout the day, devotees will have the opportunity for darshan and to offer prayers. A "Dress as You Like" event themed on Krishna's leelas will also be held, along with an evening aarti and a global peace yajna. The day will conclude with the Maha Abhishek starting at 10 PM.

On August 27th, Nanda Utsav will be celebrated, along with the 128th birth anniversary of ISKCON's founder, Acharya Abhay Charanaravinda Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada. The community is invited to join in these sacred celebrations, where prayers will also be offered for the protection of women and sisters and the destruction of evil forces.
