Ayush Raut and Tapan Das Arrested for Theft in Siliguri

The NJP police arrested two men, Ayush Raut and Tapan Das, for theft. They were caught after an investigation.

Construction workers were keeping tools at a railway worker’s house under construction in Siliguri’s Pipeline area. The thieves stole two drill machines, other equipment, and copper wires from the site. A complaint was then filed with the NJP police.

After the complaint, the police investigated and arrested the two men on Saturday night. They found the stolen items with them during questioning. The suspects were presented in Jalpaiguri court on Sunday. The police are still investigating the case.
