Indo-Nepal border sealed following elections in Darjeeling District
The Indo-Nepal border in West Bengal will be closed from Tuesday evening for three days following Lok Sabha polls.
With the Lok Sabha polls looming on 26th, Darjeeling district administration has outlined the extensive arrangements and announced the sealing of the Indo-Nepal border starting from Tuesday evening, with a cessation of cross-border movement till 26th April evening.
The border will be sealed from 23rd April 6 pm onwards till voting process ends on 26th April to ensure that voters can exercise their democratic rights without any interference and voting process ends up peacefully without any disruptions.
