LTVC declares forceful social agitation as sole democratic path to secure legitimate demands of LT seat reservation

SKM's 10- day promise of LT seat reservation streched to 1550-Day Delay: LTVC Accuses Betrayal, Insists Agitation is the Only Way

The Limbu-Tamang Voluntary Committee ( LTVC) , speaking at a press conference today in Gangtok has expressed its unwavering determination in securing their legitimate demands of Limboo Tamang seat reservation in Sikkim Assembly after years of neglect. 

They emphasized that forceful social agitation is now only the sole democratic option available to them. 

The Committee has stated that , "After being  deceit for two decades, we will no longer tolerate neglect. Social agitation is our last democratic recourse and the most impactful means to present our demand to the government."

It has also been made clear that if a fair resolution is not reached despite their persistent demand for their constitutional rights, they will take to the streets in protest. 

“The LTVC earnestly appealed to the Limbu and Tamang communities, their well-wishers, and all political parties in Sikkim to join our upcoming rally and stand in solidarity in support of their just demand for their constitutional rights” reads the press release.
