Manjeet XI Triumphs with Ganesh Limbu’s Four Goals, Securing Semi-Final Spot

The Independence Day Knockout Football Tournament, organized by Salugara Netra Bindu Sanga, saw Manjeet XI advance to the semi-finals after a thrilling match against Siliguri City FC at the Salugara ground.

Ganesh Limbu was the standout player, scoring four goals in the match. He netted goals in the 24th, 46th, 54th, and 58th minutes, showcasing remarkable skill and precision. His performance was crucial in keeping Manjeet XI ahead throughout the game.

Despite a strong comeback from Siliguri City FC, with goals from Kunga Bhutia in the 57th minute, Anmol Devan in the 78th, and Aditya in the 80th, they couldn’t close the gap. Manjeet XI held their lead and secured their spot in the semi-finals.

Looking ahead, Manjeet XI will face Betgeda Football Club in the first semi-final on Saturday, while the second semi-final will feature Siliguri United Football Club against Majua Football Club on Sunday.
