MP Raju Bista Visits Indo-Bangladesh Border to Support BSF Jawans

Raju Bista, Member of Parliament for Darjeeling and BJP National Spokesperson, visited the Indo-Bangladesh Border Outpost 132BN, BOP Karzigacch, in Chopra, North Dinajpur district, to express solidarity with Border Security Force (BSF) personnel.

Acknowledging their tireless efforts amid political disturbances in Bangladesh and ongoing skirmishes along the border, Bista praised the BSF for their courage, professionalism, and dedication to safeguarding the nation under challenging conditions. He emphasized the crucial role these jawans play as the frontline defenders of India's borders.

During his visit, Bista criticized West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the TMC government for allegedly undermining the BSF's efforts. He accused certain state officials of supporting illegal infiltrators and facilitating their acquisition of Indian identity documents, including Aadhaar, ration cards, voter IDs, and passports.

Bista questioned the state government’s actions to curb illegal immigration and highlighted the unwavering support of West Bengal's citizens for the BSF. He cited the recent incident in Sukdebpur, Malda, as evidence of public backing for the security forces.

Concluding his statement, Bista reiterated the nation's gratitude for the sacrifices and commitment of BSF personnel and assured continued support for their efforts to keep the country safe.
