NBU appoints new registar breaks the trend of past 60 years

*NBU gets first ever Lady Registrar (Officiating) in University’s 60 years of journey*

Dr. Nupur Das, Principal Secretary to the Council for Undergraduate Studies has been appointed as Registrar (officiating) of University of North Bengal for two months in addition to her normal duties as the Principal Secretary. Prof. Pranab Ghosh, who has effectively served as Registrar (Officiating) for a period of almost two years, has been released from the said duty and appointed as the Director of the Research and Development Cell of the University.

A ceremony for the transfer of charge was held on 02.12.2022 in presence of NBU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Om Prakash Mishra. Prof. Mishra congratulated Dr. Nupur Das on becoming the first ever lady Registrar of the University. He also expressed his gratitude to the outgoing Registrar Prof. Gosh for his abled skill in smooth functioning of the University administration during his tenure.
