In Sagar Dighi, a youth named Sanjeev Das is distributing saplings to villagers as part of a green initiative by the Sagar Dighi Winner Welfare Trust. The effort, aimed at combating global warming and promoting afforestation, involves distributing saplings of jackfruit, mehogany, lemon, bakul, and guava trees. Sanjeev Das has already distributed 16,000 saplings and plans to give 5,000 more during this rainy season. He is also known for gifting saplings at various events.
