The Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC) has launched a new dengue prevention initiative by releasing guppy fish throughout the city. On Thursday, Mayor Gautam Deb inaugurated the program, which aims to address rising dengue cases. Guppy fish will be introduced into water bodies and drainage systems across all 47 wards, with the support of the Fisheries Department. The program began on Bidhan Road with Mayor Deb and other officials
