Young Woman's Murder in Siliguri: Two Arrested

Bhaktinagar Police have arrested two people, a man and a woman, in connection with the murder of Pushpa Chhetri, a young woman from Bhanu Nagar, Siliguri. Pushpa was found dead with her throat slit on November 8 in her rented house.

The suspects, Rustam Bishwakarma and Pratika Portal, both from Malbazar, were arrested nine days after the incident. Police suspect a love triangle may be the reason behind the murder. The two were presented in Jalpaiguri court on Saturday.
